Last saturday, August 14th, Brussels was the place for the 2010 Fan Meeting, organized by Nathalie (Nathalie1968 on the official forum), at a karaoke bar. About 83 fans had dinner together, sang on the karaoke lounge and had a cake to celebrate the 5 years of Farfallina. The main surprises of the night were announced by Sandra: first “papa” Pierre appeared (Lara’s father), then Nathalie of the official forum, and Gerard, who was going to show a dvd with a message recorded by Lara, but when everybody were staring at the screen, thinking that there was a problem with the image because they only could hear sound, LARA APPEARS IN PERSON!
She talked to the fans for about 15 minutes (and gave some information, even for the next album, “Mademoiselle Zhivago”, confirming that it will be released in October/November in the eastern countries and next year the others). After Lara and Gerard left, the night went on until 4am. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the organization and we all wait for the next edition!

Le samedi dernier, 14 août, Bruxelles a été le lieu pour la Recontre des Fans 2010, organisée par Nathalie (Nathalie1968 au forum officiel), dans un bar karaoké. Près de 83 fans ont dîné ensemble, chanté sur le salon de karaoké, suivi par un gâteau pour fêter les 5 ans de Farfallina. Les principales surprises de la nuit ont été annoncées par Sandra: papa Pierre qui était là (le papa de Lara), puis Nathalie du forum officiel, et Gérard, qui allait montrer un DVD avec un message enregistré par Lara; mais quand tout le monde regardaient l’écran, en pensant qu’il y avait un problème avec l’image car ils ne peuvent entendre que l’audio, LARA RENTRE DANS LE SALON en personne!
Elle a parlée à tous les fans pendant environ 15 minutes (et a donnée des informations, comme pour le prochain album, “Mademoiselle Zhivago”, confirmant qu’il sera lancé en Octobre / Novembre dans les pays de l’Est et l’année prochaine dans les autres pays). Après que Lara et Gérard ont été partis, la nuit se poursuivit jusqu’à 4h du matin. Félicitations à tous ceux qui ont participé à l’organisation et nous attendons tous pour la prochaine édition!

No último sábado, 14 de agosto, Bruxelas foi o local para o Encontro de Fãs 2010, organizado por Nathalie (Nathalie1968 no fórum oficial), em um bar de karaokê. Cerca de 83 fãs jantaram juntos, cantaram na sala de karaoke e cortaram um bolo para comemorar os 5 anos da Farfallina. As surpresas principais da noite foram anunciados por Sandra: primeiramente “papa” Pierre apareceu (o pai de Lara), em seguida a Nathalie do fórum oficial, e Gerard, que iria mostrar um DVD com uma mensagem gravada pela Lara, mas quando todo mundo estava olhando para a tela, pensando que havia um problema com a imagem, pois só podiam ouvir o som, a LARA APARECE em pessoa!
Ela conversou com os fãs por aproximadamente 15 minutos (e deu algumas informações, até mesmo sobre o próximo álbum, “Mademoiselle Zhivago”), confirmando que ele será lançado em outubro / novembro nos países de Leste e no próximo ano nos outros). Depois que Lara e Gerard partiram, a noite prolongou-se até quatro horas da manhã. Parabéns a todos que participaram da organização, e todos nós esperamos ansiosos pela próxima edição!

Tonight was the first presentation for the russian tv-show “Saturday Evening”. Lara interpreted (lip-sync) the song “Mama”, a song in tribute to her mother. This tv-show is from where those bootlegs of the next album were recorded some weeks ago, in June. The other songs will be interpreted in the same show, but in different days. The video is already available on YouTube and here is also provided the mp3 (link below).

Ce soir était la première présentation de Lara dans l’emission russe “Samedi soir”. Lara a interprétée (en playback) la chanson “Mama”, une chanson en hommage à sa mère. C’est de Cette émission qui viennent les bootlegs du prochain album qui ont été enregistrées il ya quelques semaines, en Juin. Les autres chansons seront interprétées dans la même emission, mais en jours différents. La vidéo est déjà disponible sur YouTube et je vous offre également la mp3 (lien ci-dessous).

Hoje foi a primeira apresentação da Lara para o programa de TV russo “Saturday Evening”. Lara interpretou (em playback) a música “Mama”, uma canção em homenagem à sua mãe. É deste programa que vieram os bootlegs do próximo álbum, que foram gravadas há algumas semanas, em junho. As outras canções serão interpretadas no mesmo programa, mas em dias diferentes, mais pra frente. O vídeo já está disponível no YouTube e você pode baixar aqui no site o mp3 também (link abaixo).

The director Mike Ogden posted today on the Facebook group of the movie “Charlie” a concept-poster for the promotion of the movie. It’s a “concept” because there are no official material, since the filming didn’t start yet. This is the first official pre-promotional release.

O diretor Mike Ogden postou hoje no grupo do Facebook do filme “Charlie” um poster-conceito para divulgação do filme. É “conceitual” pois ainda não há nenhum material oficial, já que as filmagens ainda nem começaram. Este é o primeiro material oficial de pré-divulgação lançado.

Lara just left the stage in Jurmala, at the New Wave festival. She sang 4 songs (“Mademoiselle Hyde”, “Toccami”, “Vocalises” with an armenian musician (it was said that this is the theme of Mademoiselle Zhivago, and is the song that connects all the other 12), and (probably) the song for the videoclip of Mr. President (it’s not certain the name of the song yet). She changed her dress between songs and sang the three songs from Mademoiselle Zhivago in playback. Check photos of her on the press conference of the festival and the videos. Lara vient de quitter la scène à Jurmala, au festival New Wave. Elle a chantée 4 chansons (“Mademoiselle Hyde”, “Toccami”, “Vocalises” avec un musicien arménien (il a été dit que cette chanson est le “theme” de Mademoiselle Zhivago et c’est la chanson qui lie toutes les autres), et (probablement) la chanson pour le clip de Mr. Président (il n’est pas certain le titre de cette chanson encore). Lara acabou de deixar o palco em Jurmala, no Festival New Wave. Ela cantou quatro músicas (“Mademoiselle Hyde”, “Toccami”, “Vocalises” com um músico armênio (foi dito que esta canção é o tema de Mademoiselle Zhivago e é a canção que liga todas as outras 12), e (provavelmente) a música para o videoclip Mr. President (ainda não é certo o nome da música). It’s been posted on the russian “Lara Fabian Groupe Official” four photos from the recording of the tv-special “Saturday Evening”. In these specific photos we see scenes from when Lara sang Toccami, Stop and Ever, and Mama, and also posing with the host. The special will be broadcasted on August 14th.

It’s been posted on YouTube two veeery very old videos of Lara, and because they’re so rare I decided to share them here too. The videos show a 17-year-old Lara on the belgian tv-show “Chansons Souvenirs”, in 1987 (RTBF channel), presenting two songs she recorded in that year after winning first prize in a festival. The songs are “Nuits Blanches” and “Il y Avait”. She didn’t had “Fabian” on her name yet, so they called her just “Lara”. Enjoy!

Il a été posté sur YouTube deux vidéos trèèès très anciens de Lara, et parcequ’ils sont si rares, j’ai décidé de les partager ici aussi. Les vidéos montrent une jeune Lara à 17 ans sur une émission belge qui s’appelait “Chansons Souvenirs”, en 1987 (sur la chaîne RTBF) en présentant deux chansons qu’elle avait enregistrée cette année là, après avoir remporté le premier prix dans un festival. Les chansons sont “Nuits Blanches” et “Il y Avait”. Elle n’a pas eu “Fabian” sur son nom encore, et ils l’appelaient simplement “Lara”. Amusez-vous!

Foram postados no YouTube dois vídeos muuuito muito antigos da Lara, e por eles serem tão raros decidi compartilhá-los aqui também. Os vídeos mostram uma Lara de 17 anos de idade, na programa de tv belga “Chansons Souvenirs”, em 1987 (pelo canal RTBF), apresentando duas canções que ela gravou no mesmo ano, depois de ganhar o primeiro prêmio em um festival. As canções são “Nuits Blanches” e “Il y avait”. Ela não tinha “Fabian” em seu nome ainda, e por essa razão eles a chamavam apenas de “Lara”. Divirtam-se!
